How to record great work or a great idea using Datix

Who is it for? Every member of staff who has access to a trust PC

What does it cover? How to use the Datix system to report someone who has done a great piece of work in the trust, or a great idea that you have had that could improve the way that we work in the trust.

What format does the course take? A short video presentation (approximately 1 minute in duration) that demonstrates how to record great work or a great idea on the Datix system - please watch this Greatix video below:
How to investigate or approve a safety incident using Datix

Who is it for? Members of staff who have the responsibility to act as safety incident investigators (usually but not exclusively band 6 and above) and approvers (usually band 7 and above)

What does it cover? How to use the Datix system when acting as the investigator of a safety incident, and how to use the Datix system to approve (close) a safety incident once an investigation has been completed.

What format does the course take? A series of 10 video presentations (approximately 67 minutes in total duration) that demonstrate the different aspects of the incident investigation and approval process using the Datix system. These do not all need to be viewed at one time, and can be re-viewed at any time to remind users of the processes to follow.
