Employees of Bedfordshire Hospitals are able to attend training on any site. The only exception to this is Manual Handling, this must be completed on your base site.
You can also complete the vast majority of statutory and mandatory training on E Learning via ESR or by completing workbooks that can be found on the link below.
This page also lists all of the E-Learning available on ESR and other virtual learning platforms that the Trust has invested in to support staff development.

ESR has a large catalogue of e-learning available to all staff. You can view the full ESR course catalogue by clicking on the button below.
The Trust has also invested in a number of e-learning products to help support staff development above and beyond the standard ESR e-learning offer. All additional e-learning courses are listed below. Any new courses added to the e-learning catalogue will be updated here.
Microsoft Office Package Training:
This training can be accessed via ESR. You must register with the Digital Learning Solutions (https://www.dls.nhs.uk/) to gain a pin number to access this training. Once you have your pin number you can access the following Microsoft Office e-learning packages via ESR or via the DLS website :

Instructions:
1. Go to the "My Learning" section on ESR
2. Search for the Learning Certification "Care Certificate"
3. Select "Subscribe"
4. Complete all modules to complete your theory

NHS Elect is a national member network organisation that has been providing NHS organisations with high-quality support and training since 2002.
Hosted by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, they are part of the NHS and work regularly with NHS England and NHS Improvement, social care and local government, and other national bodies. This gives an in-depth understanding of emerging healthcare policy and best practice from across the UK, which they use to support work with their members.
